Job summary

FOX LATAM in Mexico City seeks a proactive Accounting Supervisor to oversee day-to-day general accounting operations across Mexico and Central America. You will manage AR workflows, drive month-end closing, and ensure regional tax compliance including CFDI 4.0 while aligning with US GAAP and local standards.

The ideal candidate has 5 years of progressive accounting experience, with 1–2 years supervising staff in a multinational setting, and strong English/Spanish communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting is required.
• 5 years progressive accounting experience; 1–2 years supervising staff.
• Proficiency in English and Spanish (written and spoken).
• Deep expertise in CFDI 4.0 and Central American tax/regulations; US GAAP/IFRS knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily accounting across Mexico and Central America.
• Lead month-end close for regional entities and ensure accurate journal entries.
• Ensure compliance with local tax regulations including CFDI 4.0 and e-invoicing.
• Collaborate with shared services, corporate finance, and treasury teams.
• Support internal and external audits and strengthen internal controls.
• Identify opportunities to standardize and automate processes across countries.
