We are seeking an experienced Recruiting Manager to lead a high-performing team of recruiters dedicated to hiring top talent for our Worldwide Amazon Stores Business Units in Mexico. This role will work closely with business partners, and will shape how we think about Talent Acquisition within the country.
As the Manager, Stores Recruiting, you'll be a strategic partner to technical business leaders, providing talent insights, driving innovative sourcing strategies, and delivering a world-class candidate experience. You'll build and develop a team of technical recruiting professionals, setting performance goals, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
Key job responsibilities
Build distinct hiring strategies based on demand and capacity to support Tech, SDE and Non Tech hiring for multiple organizations to meet increasing hiring needs across Mexico and the Latin America market.
Drive sourcing capability & capacity across a geographically dispersed team to proactively build talent pools while leveraging all available talent channels to expedite delivery.
Develop and manage recruiting reports, dashboards, and metrics. Establish and track metrics to measure the efficiency and effectiveness of the recruiting team, hiring managers and interviewers.
Work closely with business leaders to influence and deliver quality assessment and high touch candidate experience through all aspects of the recruitment funnel.
Partner with key stakeholders (Business Leaders, Hiring Managers, HR Business Partners and Recruiting Managers) to determine future needs and set and drive enabling sourcing strategies; this requires a deep understanding through extensive market research of the channels where we can find the best, diverse talent who fit our technical and cultural demands.
Build engage, manage and develop a team of high-performing staff in an extremely fast-paced and ambiguous environment.
Set team performance goals and metrics, timelines and a formal tracking process to measure and manage progress.
Develop and execute to plans to identify and drive productivity improvements that enable the team to deliver to hiring goals without having to scale deployed resources at a rate faster than the business is growing.
Periodically lead and/or participate in cross-business projects and initiatives related to recruiting.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelors Degree
8+ years of recruitment/HR experience in a Corporate in-house or Staffing environment
1+ years’ experience managing and coaching a recruiting team of direct or indirect reports.
Bilingual Spanish and English proficiency
Experience negotiating and extending offers to candidates, and managing relocation processes
Preferred Qualifications
Partner with business leaders and HR Business Partners to set and drive strategy, goals, process, and metrics.
Portuguese proficiency
Skilled at partnering with hiring teams to build effective sourcing, assessment, and closing approaches with an ability to manage customer/partner expectations through a deep understanding of ROI
Workforce planning experience
Experience scaling a team through tremendous growth periods
Experience partnering with global clients and peers
Experience creating, measuring and scaling workflow between Candidates, Hiring Managers and the Recruiting team
Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills
