Job Description

The Recruiter is responsible for Service Excellence throughout the recruitment cycle. They act as a brand ambassador, focused on delivering exceptional talent and providing proactive communication on search status. They serve as a subject matter expert in talent acquisition, providing consultative guidance and industry expertise to hiring leaders.

Work location: Remote for candidates based in Mexico only
Work arrangement: Remote
Language requirements: English is mandatory
Specific needs: Recruitment experience in the Oil & Gas sector

Responsibilities:

  • Lead detailed job scope meetings with hiring leaders to determine specifications, providing market data and recommendations.
  • Review candidates who applied via ATS.
  • Evaluate candidate qualifications against requirements and determine progression.
  • Develop and manage sourcing plans to identify appropriate candidate sources.
  • Source candidates via resume databases, search engines, and networking sites using Boolean search techniques.
  • Solicit referrals from networks and internal sources.
  • Utilize Cielo’s software for mobile and email campaigns to talent communities.
  • Engage candidates using various media (phone, email, social media).
  • Articulate value propositions to interested candidates.
  • Prepare candidates for interviews, coaching on logistics and expectations.
  • Provide timely updates to candidates regarding their application status.
  • Draft and use interview templates aligned with job descriptions.
  • Compare interview notes and assessments to determine candidate fit.
  • Conduct skills testing and background checks as needed.
  • Partner with hiring leaders to determine offer details, using market data.
  • Communicate offers and negotiate as appropriate.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulations and standards.
  • Build talent pipelines to ensure multiple qualified candidates are available.
  • Report recruiting activities regularly to stakeholders.
  • Identify and address difficulties in searches, recommending solutions.
  • Maintain proactive communication with hiring leaders, providing consultative advice.

Qualifications

Education: High school diploma required; Bachelor's in related fields preferred.

Experience: At least two years' recruiting experience in corporate, RPO, or agency settings, with familiarity with ATS and social media tools.

Skills and Knowledge: Proficient in Boolean sourcing, Microsoft Office, and HR principles related to talent acquisition.
