Schaeffler is seeking a Verification Intern in Puebla, Mexico to support test planning, execution and analysis on torque converter verification activities during DVP and PVP phases.

You will assist the verification engineer, develop test setups, collect data, and participate in teardown, reports, and phase follow-up. English skills required; this is an early-career engineering role offering hands-on development opportunities.

Formación

• Final-year bachelor's in Mechanical or Mechatronics.
• BS in Mechanical/Mechatronics engineering preferred.
• English skills required B1 to C1.

Responsabilidades

• Support verification engineer project leader for test stand setups and specialized tests on torque converter.
• Ensure tests meet instrumentation, cycles, and stabilization requirements for data quality.
• Perform teardown and part analysis.
• Test report documentation and follow-up of PVP/DVP phases.

Position Description:

As a Verification Intern you will be supporting development activities as planning, preparation, execution, analysis and reporting of tests on test rigs during DVP and PVP phases.

Educational Prerequisites

• Students in their final year of bachelor's studies (Mechanical, Mechatronics). Or BS Degree in engineering (Mechanical, Mechatronics).
• English skills required B1 to C1.

General Requirements

• Root cause analysis & problem resolution skills required.
• Self-starter, highly motivated and with strong desire of accountability and ownership.
• Ability to develop project schedules and track projects to completion.
• Applicable engineering and physics knowledge
• Understanding of automotive powertrain

Responsibilities

Support verification engineer project leader to:

• Conduct tests stand set-ups for the execution of specialized tests on torque converter
• Ensure tests are complete to the required specification in terms of instrumentation requirements, tests cycles, stabilization criteria etc. to ensure data quality is adequate to support correct technical conclusions.

Perform teardown and part analysis

• Test report documentation
• Follow up of PVP / DVP Phases
