Schaeffler Transmisión, S. de R.L. de C.V. in Mexico offers a Verification Intern role focused on planning, preparation, execution, analysis and reporting of tests on test rigs during DVP and PVP phases.

You will work with a verification engineer to run tests, perform teardown and part analysis, and document findings while developing project schedules and applying engineering knowledge of powertrains.

Formación

• Final-year bachelor students in Mechanical or Mechatronics (BS).
• Engineering degree in Mechanical or Mechatronics.
• English skills required B1 to C1.
• Root cause analysis and problem resolution.
• Ability to develop project schedules and track progress to completion.
• Engineering and physics knowledge; understanding of automotive powertrain.

Responsabilidades

• Support verification engineer project leader.
• Conduct test stand setups for specialized torque converter tests.
• Ensure tests meet instrumentation requirements and cycles for data quality.
• Perform teardown and part analysis.
• Test report documentation and follow up on PVP/DVP phases.
• Communicate findings to stakeholders and contribute to overall project milestones.

Educational Prerequisites

• Students in their final year of bachelor's studies (Mechanical, Mechatronics). Or BS

Degree in engineering (Mechanical, Mechatronics).

• English skills required B1 to C1.

General Requirements

• Root cause analysis & problem resolution skills required.
• Effective Communicator.
• Self-starter, highly motivated and with strong desire of accountability and ownership.
• Ability to develop project schedules and track projects to completion.
• Applicable engineering and physics knowledge
• Understanding of automotive powertrain

Responsibilities

Support verification engineer project leader to:

• Conduct tests stand set-ups for the execution of specialized tests on torque converter
• Ensure tests are complete to the required specification in terms of instrumentation requirements, tests cycles, stabilization criteria etc. to ensure data quality is adequate to support correct technical conclusions.

Perform teardown and part analysis

• Test report documentation
• Follow up of PVP / DVP Phases
