The Gund Company in Mexico is seeking an Corporate Engineering R&D Engineer to lead external testing and certification projects and provide internal laboratory testing for engineering, marketing, sales, and global teams.

The role requires an engineering degree, English proficiency, and 2–3 years of lab testing experience in a manufacturing setting; CAD/CAM skills and knowledge of materials are a plus. The position is on site, with expected collaboration across multiple departments.

Formación

• Degree in Engineering with certificate.
• Ability to read, write and speak English.
• Requires comprehensive technical ability across a broad engineering field.
• 2 to 3 years of work experience with laboratory material testing / manufacturing environment.
• Product design and development, customer/compliance liaison experience a plus.
• CAD/CAM experience a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Lead external testing and certification projects.
• Provide internal laboratory testing service to Engineering/Marketing/Sales/Global Sourcing/Manufacturing teams.
• Maintain and update test logs; prepare test reports and SOPs.
• Sourcing of materials and equipment for projects.
• Train process engineers and technicians on new methods.
• Audit processes and update documentation.
