Job Description

Working as part of a cross-functional team, you will lead RDQ activities required for new product development, maintaining portfolios, and productivity projects, aiming to deliver the desired consumer experience.

How you will contribute

You will independently plan, lead, and coordinate technical projects aligned with RDQ, marketing, and manufacturing requirements. You will communicate status and risks effectively, plan and oversee pilot plant and factory trials following good manufacturing practices and HACCP standards. Additionally, you will coordinate development activities such as product shelf-life testing, designing for quality, and consumer test preparation. You will use digital simulation models to interpret consumer insights and commercial data, create and maintain consumer-led specifications, and manage stakeholders, influencing decisions based on analysis and interpretation of results.

Job specific requirements:
  • BS or MS in Food Science, Chemical Engineering, or related field
  • Knowledge of R&D food processes or thorough understanding
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Experience managing multiple projects and priorities
  • Ability to develop and execute plant trials
  • Strong technical foundation and curiosity
  • Participation in cross-functional technical problem-solving
  • Knowledge of Quality Systems (BPM, HACCP, ISO)
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken)
The candidate should:
  • Communicate technical information effectively
  • Have relevant engineering experience, ideally in a fast-moving consumer goods environment
  • Be curious, a continuous learner, and committed to technical rigor
  • Manage multiple stakeholders and influence teams
  • Understand Quality and Laboratory practices
Additional details:
  • Travel: Periodic trips to all MX Manufacturing Plants
  • Work model: 80% in-office/labs, 20% remote
