The team seeks an AI/ML engineer skilled in full stack development, DevOps, and advanced AI/ML technologies. This role is essential for making AI/ML solutions accessible to our business users.

Responsibilities

As an AI/Machine Learning Engineer within the R&D Data Science and Analytics team, you will play an essential role in developing and deploying AI/Machine Learning models and digital applications. Your responsibilities include collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand their requirements and deliver effective AI/ML solutions. Operating in a matrixed environment that encompasses IT, data scientists, and business teams, you will be tasked with end-to-end project development. Furthermore, you will be responsible for establishing robust CI/CD pipelines to streamline the deployment of AI/ML solutions, as well as maintaining and optimizing the performance of AI/ML implementations.

Frontend Responsibilities

• Developing User Interfaces: Designing and implementing intuitive and engaging user interfaces using React and JavaScript.
• Integrating AI/ML Features: Incorporating AI/ML functionalities into the frontend to enhance user experience, such as chatbots, recommendation systems, and data visualization

Backend Responsibilities

• Server and Database Management: Developing and maintaining servers and databases to ensure functionality and efficiency
• API Development: Designing and implementing APIs for communication between frontend and backend systems, including AI model endpoints
• Data Management: Handling data storage, retrieval, and manipulation using SQL and NoSQL databases

DevOps and AI/ML specific Responsibilities

• CI/CD Pipelines: Establishing and maintaining continuous integration and continuous deployment pipelines to automate testing and deployment
• Cloud Deployment: Managing deployment processes on Azure cloud platforms
• Monitoring and Maintenance: Monitoring application performance and implementing updates and fixes as needed
• Developing AI/ML Models: Designing, training, and deploying AI/ML models to solve specific problems, such as rule based engine, natural language processing, and computer vision
• Optimizing AI/ML Algorithms: Fine-tuning AI/ML algorithms for performance, scalability, and accuracy
• Integrating AI/ML Solutions: Seamlessly integrating AI/ML models into the overall application architecture

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Data Science, Information Technologies or a related field.
• 2-3 years of experience in programming languages such as Python (Dash & Flask frameworks), Java, PySpark, and SQL
• Proven experience in setting up CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or equivalent tools.
• Knowledge of automated testing frameworks and deployment strategies tailored for Azure environments.
• Fluent in English and Spanish - this is a global role.
• Ability to write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
• Familiarity with RESTful API integration and asynchronous programming
• Hands-on experience with modern JavaScript frameworks/libraries such as React, Angular, or Vue.js.
• Strong understanding of containerization with Docker and orchestration with Kubernetes, particularly in an Azure context (e.g., Azure Kubernetes Service).
