Job summary

Daimler Truck AG is seeking a Quality Supervisor in Mexico to lead the quality team and drive sustainable quality performance across the product lifecycle. You will coordinate problem solving, root cause analysis and preventive actions with cross-functional partners to meet customer expectations and regulatory standards.

The role requires a strong background in ISO 9001, PFMEA, GD&T and MSA, plus engineering education and fluency in English and Spanish.

Qualifications

• Quality Systems & Core Tools (ISO 9001) knowledge required.
• Advanced Statistical Analysis and core tools (PFMEA, GD&T, MSA) experience.
• Experience with Product, Manufacturing and customer relationships.
• English level: B2, Spanish level: C1.
• Industrial/Mechanical/Electrical engineering or related degree.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the assigned quality team with safety, quality, delivery, cost goals.
• Monitor KPIs, identify trends and drive improvement across product/process areas.
• Coordinate containment, root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Collaborate with Production, Engineering, Suppliers and Logistics to prevent issues.
• Ensure audits and inspections uphold quality standards and regulatory requirements.

Purpose

Provide leadership and direction for quality-related activities to ensure compliance with customer expectations, company standards, and regulatory requirements.

The Quality Supervisor partners with cross-functional teams to improve performance, prevent defects, resolve quality issues, and strengthen customer confidence throughout the product lifecycle.

Main Functions

• Lead and develop the assigned quality team, ensuring alignment with safety, quality, delivery, cost, morale and environmental objectives while fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
• Monitor and drive quality performance by analyzing key performance indicators (KPIs), identifying trends, and implementing actions to improve product, process, supplier, and customer quality results.
• Coordinate problem-solving and corrective action activities, including containment, root cause analysis, and verification of corrective and preventive actions to ensure sustainable solutions.
• Partner with cross-functional teams, including Production, Engineering, Suppliers, Logistics, Customer Support, and other relevant areas, to prevent quality issues, improve processes, and achieve business objectives.
• Ensure compliance with quality management systems, customer requirements, and regulatory standards through audits, reviews, inspections, and continuous process evaluations.
