Una empresa líder en fabricación busca un Quality Supervisor para liderar la calidad de procesos y productos. El candidato ideal llevará adelante mejoras continuas, gestionará al equipo de calidad y asegurará el cumplimiento de las normativas ISO, siendo clave en el desarrollo de nuevos productos para una manufactura de alto volumen.

Formación

• Más de 10 años de experiencia en calidad con un mínimo de 3 años en supervisión.
• Habilidades en gestión de proyectos y manejo de múltiples proyectos.
• Bilingüe en inglés y español con habilidades de comunicación verbal y escrita.

Overview

The Quality Supervisor will lead the efforts for process quality and customer quality. Monitors adherence to plant quality system and will be a driving force in reducing defects and customer returns. Additionally, the successful candidate will be a strategic thinker able to quickly identify continuous improvement opportunities and work cross-functionally to implement them. This innovative leader will manage thequality technicians/inspectors ensuring they meet company standards and strategic objectives

Responsibilities

• Work on complex and innovative projects to reduce internal and external quality issues
• Provide technical support to define inspection techniques, test procedures, equipment development and training
• Prepare quality documentation such as control plans, PFMEAs, inspection plans, test procedures, etc.
• Diagnose quality problems (field, vendor’s site and manufacturing plant), develop solutions, and monitor corrective action implementation and effectiveness
• Maintain and continually improving the quality management system in the areas assigned with a “risk management” approach
• Assure compliance to company procedures, policies and most current revision of ISO 9001 standard
• Participate in new product development (NPD) to ensure all customer requirements are met and the manufacturing process is robust
• Oversee NPD builds to ensure process controls are in place and effective
• Lead and/or participate in supplier audits and qualification process
• Manage and develop quality personnel
• Analyze results and recommend solutions to complex product and process quality problems
• Work with engineering and manufacturing staff, equipment manufacturers and vendors to develop solutions and implement preventative measures to address product and process quality problems
• Develop testing methodologies and equipment including precision computerized measuring devices and statistical control techniques

Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• BS degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Electric or other technical discipline
• 10+ years of quality experience with a minimum 3 years in supervision
• Skilled in project management and handling multiple projects simultaneously
• Experienced with incoming inspection and supplier interaction
• Strong statistical knowledge
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Self-sufficient and thrives in a team environment
• Ability to influence and lead others, a change agent
• Strong interpersonal and negotiating skills
• Bilingual English/Spanish with excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Knowledge of Pareto analysis techniques, Gage R&R, Control Plans and FMEA
• Skilled in the use of word-processing, spreadsheet, and database computer programs
• Enthusiastic, hardworking, results oriented with a can-do attitude, working towards career advancement
• Effective at multitasking and time management
• Experience in new product introduction process

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Experience in high volume manufacturing industry / Lean manufacturing orientation and/or 6Sigma
• MBA or MS degree in related field
• Experience with implementation of Total Quality Management (TQM)
• 3 to 5 years in a leadership position as a quality supervisor or manager in a high-volume manufacturing organization
• Experience in the use of InfinityQS
• Strong knowledge of ISO 9000-2015 version.
