Formación

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to support the deployment of the quality strategy for a local organizational unit, including quality culture, systems, tools, and competent teams with the aim to achieve and exceed customer expectations, while ensuring sustainable operations. Each day, you will assist the organization in achieving the right mix of prevention, continuous improvement, robust root cause analysis, quick response, and sustainable solutions to problems. You will also showcase your expertise by collaborating with local functions that impact the quality results to reach the targets for the organizational unit and aim for world-class performance.The work model for the role is: #LI-HybridThis role is contributing to the Robotics division in San Luis Potosi.You will be mainly accountable for:• Proactively ensures that healthy & safe, green environment and sustainable operations are maintained, and upheld personal integrity in all actions.• Ensures the Voice of the Customer is represented by driving incorporation of learnings and experiences from customer feedback. Ensures all risks, problems and solutions are evaluated from a customer/stakeholder point of view. Establish necessary approach to ensure thoroughly and timely issue resolution throughout the organization for any customer case. Resolve customer quality issues in a timely and thorough manner.• Execute deployment of Quality policies, regulations and processes that make up the management system and are effective in meeting customer and shareholder expectations. Supports management to ensure that the operational approach, process and system are continually evaluated for effectiveness.• Work within EDP assembly operations to: prevent mistakes and defects in products & supplied parts and avoid problems when delivering solutions or services to customers, provide confidence that ABB and customer quality requirements will be fulfilled, focus on issue prevention rather than just control, establish customer and stakeholder needs/expectations, drive the utilization of process management to deliver consistent results, minimizing variation, maximizing efficiencies and improving results.• Performs audits and ensures the use of analytics of quality data from all parts of the business to identify risks, failures, non-conformances and non-compliances. Ensures that appropriate corrective and preventive actions are taken, and solutions are managed to closure.• Drives adoption of effective systems and tools to deliver products, projects and services that meets/exceeds customer needs and complies with regulatory statues throughout its lifecycle.• Utilize requirements management, process implementation, risk management, performance measurement and internal audit to ensure effective internal controls are in place to meet customer and stakeholder requirements across EDP.

Qualifications for the role
  • 3-5 years of professional experience related in similar position
  • Bachelor degree in Engineering (i.e Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, Robotic, Industrial )
  • Proficient in oral & written English language
  • Proven experience of working in Quality assurance area (including Supplier Quality Management), preferably within automotive sector or multinational business (min. 2 years)
  • Knowledge of Quality tools and standards (e.g. ISO 9001, 6 Sigma, FMEA, PPAP, APQP, RCA, 8D, Internal Audit, Case Management)
  • Having customer-first, open minded and positive can-do attitude
  • Ability to closely collaborate with Global EDP network, mainly in China and Czech Republic
