Allient Inc. in Reynosa, Mexico, is seeking a Quality Specialist Engineer to join our manufacturing team.

You will audit, analyze, and improve processes, ensuring defect-free products through problem solving, testing, and inspections. You will collaborate with production and engineering, develop control plans, manage quality metrics, and support ISO/AS9100 certifications while working with suppliers and traveling as needed.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in Quality Engineering.
• Knowledge of descriptive statistics and inferential statistics.
• Experience applying quality tools: APQP, SPC, MSA, PPAP, PFMEA.
• Experience developing Control Plans and First Article Inspection (FAI).
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing.
• Six Sigma Black Belt is a plus.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 / AS9100 / ISO14001 Quality Management System Standards.
• Knowledge of Minitab, Power BI, Access, and Monte Carlo is a plus.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Project, PowerPoint, Excel, Word).
• Willingness to travel (Borders crossing required).

Responsabilidades

• Audits and analyzes manufacturing processes and products for improvement using problem-solving, testing, and inspection.
• Develops, applies, and maintains quality requirements and standards toward a zero-defect culture.
• Designs and implements methods for process control, testing, and inspection; manages quality plans and reports.
• Provides corrective and preventive actions to reduce scrap, rework, and external quality failures.
• Monitors quality metrics and supplier performance; supports corrective actions with suppliers.
• Participates in internal and external quality audits and ISO/AS9100 certifications.
