Hengtong Group is seeking a Quality Manager to own quality across the full optical cable lifecycle at our Querétaro, Mexico plant. You will manage IQC/IPQC/FQC/OQC, laboratories, and supplier quality, ensuring ISO 9001 and IEC standard alignment while safeguarding product yield and customer satisfaction.

You will lead the quality team, drive continuous improvement, and coordinate cross-functional quality initiatives with the Technical Quality Director.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant engineering or materials field.
• 5+ years in optical cable technical/R&D with leadership experience.
• Experience with ISO 9001 and IEC standards in quality systems.
• Strong English communication skills.

We are seeking a Quality Manager to take full ownership of quality management across the entire optical cable product lifecycle at our manufacturing plant in Querétaro, Mexico. Reporting to the Technical Quality Director, you will oversee IQC/IPQC/FQC/OQC, laboratories, measurement equipment, and supplier quality; establish and implement quality systems aligned with ISO 9001, IEC optical cable standards, and key customer standards. You will be fully accountable for product yield, scrap cost, and customer quality satisfaction.

What You'll Do

• Own the quality management system and standardization: quality strategy, quality planning, quality objectives, and QMS maintenance; lead customer factory audits and inspections；
• Manage end-to-end process quality control: incoming material inspection, in-process control, finished product monitoring, and delivery assurance；
• Oversee laboratory operations and the calibration/measurement management of testing equipment；
• Lead investigation and improvement of quality abnormalities; drive customer complaint traceability, rectification, and closed-loop management of nonconforming products；
• Manage quality reviews throughout the new product introduction (NPI) process；
• Own supplier quality management, including material inspection and process/system evaluations；
• Build, train, and develop the quality team, including performance assessment and talent pipeline development；
• Lead quality data analysis, continuous improvement initiatives, and cross-departmental collaboration；

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree or above in Fiber Optic Communication, Polymer Materials, Mechanical Design, Cable Engineering, or related fields; Master's degree a plus；
• 5+ years of technical/R&D experience in the optical cable industry, including 2+ years in a team management role；
• Deep familiarity with the full production and R&D process of optical cables；
• Experience in special optical cable R&D and management is a strong advantage；
• Strong capabilities in strategic planning, budget management, effective communication, negotiation and conflict management, and team leadership；
• Good command of English, both written and spoken；
