The Supplier Development Engineer at AFL in Apodaca, Mexico plays a key role in the supply chain, collaborating with engineering and quality teams to ensure compliance and deliver the best possible customer experience.

The position focuses on quality principles, process audits, and the use of ISO 9001 QMS practices, with preference for candidates who understand drawings, manufacturing processes, and quality standards including injection molding and metal fabrication.

Formación

• Advanced English proficiency.
• Technical Proficiency: Strong understanding of drawings, quality control methods, manufacturing processes, and industry specific quality standards. Injection molding and metal fabrication a plus.
• ISO 9001 QMS and technical process audit experience required.

Job Summary

The Supplier Development Engineer works within the supply chain organization and across many functional areas including engineering and quality. This position ensures compliance and quality principles are followed to deliver the best possible customer experience.

Technical Knowledge

• Advanced English proficiency.
• Technical Proficiency: Strong understanding of drawings, quality control methods, manufacturing processes, and industry specific quality standards. Injection molding and metal fabrication a plus.
• ISO 9001 QMS and technical process audit experience required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in quality, engineering, or related fields.
