A leading automotive supplier in San Luis Potosí is seeking an Advanced Quality Supervisor to enhance quality systems and drive supplier improvements. Key responsibilities include managing the quality department, implementing audits, and fostering customer communication. The ideal candidate will possess a technical degree and significant automotive management experience, along with fluency in Spanish and English. SUMMARY
Plans and directs activities concerned with development, application and maintenance of supplier quality systems and quality processes. The Advanced Quality Supervisor drives corrective actions of current production products and new model programs and communicates corrective actions to the plant and customer while verifying corrective action effectiveness.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
Directly supervises employees in the Advanced Quality department. In addition, carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organizations policies and applicable laws.
TS 16949 and ISO 14001 RESPONSIBILITIES The responsibilities listed in the Inalfa Roof System TS16949 Quality Manual and ISO 14001 Environmental Manual pertaining to this position are mandatory. Other responsibilities may be added, with or without notice in writing, at any time and it is the responsibility of this position to review such changes on a period basis.
QUALIFICATIONS :
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
Bachelors degree or equivalent, technical field preferred; or 7 to 10 years of automotive management experience and/or training; or 10 years equivalent combination of education and experience.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Have the ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations in Spanish and English. Have the ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Have the ability to present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public effectively.
