Eaton Reynosa seeks a Quality Manager to deploy and lead the plant's Quality Management System, ensuring product specifications and quality while maintaining compliance with IATF 16949:2016 for low and high voltage products. The role represents plant management and customers, developing and deploying quality processes to meet requirements and exceed expectations.
Responsibilities include leading the quality engineering team, stopping shipments or production to correct issues, participating in
Deploy, improve and lead Eaton’s Reynosa Quality Management System to satisfy customer expectations and requirements, ensuring product specifications and quality while maintaining an effective Quality System in Eaton. The Quality Manager represents plant management and customers per IATF 16949:2016, developing and deploying all quality processes to meet customer requirements, exceed their expectations, and ensure compliance with all applicable guidelines from Eaton and industry requirements for low voltage and high voltage products.
Zero Incident Workplace Culture: Integrate technical skill sets to identify and eliminate hazards in manufacturing processes, including electrical circuit design, programmable controllers, safety interlock circuitry, lock‑out/tag‑out, isolation of potential energy, and ergonomics. Knowledge of hazardous materials and workplace exposure, including chemical use, storage, gases, noises, dust, fumes, vapors, and ventilation.
Analytical/Statistical Tools & Methods: Apply a wide range of problem‑solving tools and methods, including statistics, to make data‑based decisions and sustain higher levels of process or product quality.
External Requirements: Apply the product/process and quality system standards of international certification bodies, industry‑specific regulatory authorities, and customer specifications.
Product/Process Quality Planning: Define the critical to quality elements of a product/process and analyze, assess, and mitigate risks associated with potential failures.
Quality Leadership: Assess performance, set strategy aligned with business goals, and use metrics to drive continuous improvement.
Decision Making / Problem Solving: Identify and raise issues constructively, develop innovative solutions, and make effective decisions even with limited or ambiguous information.
Results‑Driven: Commit to delivering superior performance, exceed expectations, and take personal accountability for outcomes.
