A leading plastic injection molding company in Monterrey is looking for a Quality Assurance Manager to oversee quality processes and compliance with ISO standards. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and over 5 years of experience in quality assurance within the industry. Formación

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Quality Assurance within plastic injection molding companies.
• Strong background in implementation and auditing of ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 14001:2015.
• Advanced English proficiency.

Main Functions

• Understand customer needs and expectations, developing and implementing process controls to ensure compliance
• Lead and promote a culture focused on Quality throughout the organization
• Establish strong quality process links with customers in line with the Integrated Management System (ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 14001:2015)
• Support Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) and Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP)
• Ensure the quality of plastic parts in injection molding processes
• Build and maintain relationships with customers and suppliers to maximize efficiency and profitability
• Promote continuous improvement initiatives within all areas of responsibility, fostering a “Quality at the Source” mindset and problem-solving methodologies

Key Responsibilities

• Implement best practices in quality strategies, policies, processes, and procedures
• Ensure compliance with ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015, and preferably IATF 16949
• Supervise internal and external audits related to plastic injection processes
• Respond to customer complaints through containment actions, root cause analysis, error-proofing (poka-yoke), and corrective/preventive actions
• Manage the Quality team and monitor supplier performance in coordination with the Purchasing department
• Develop and monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for all areas of responsibility
• Provide training to staff on quality systems, processes, and procedures

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent professional experience
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Quality Assurance within plastic injection molding companies
• Strong background in implementation and auditing of ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015, and preferably IATF 16949
• Advanced English proficiency
