Job summary

One Mobility Group in Mexico's Comonfort, Guanajuato, is seeking a Quality Manager to lead the Quality Department, drive KPI management, APQP, FMEA, and audits, and ensure compliance with IATF 16949 and ISO 14001 throughout the plant.

You will guide regional quality strategies, support supplier quality, ensure safe product launches, and promote a strong quality culture while developing training programs and leading cross-functional problem-solving.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 6-8 years of experience in Quality Management within the automotive industry.
• Quality Management Systems (IATF 16949)
• Environmental Management Systems (ISO 14001)
• APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC, and MSA
• Customer complaint and warranty management
• Supplier Quality Management and escalation processes
• Internal, external, and customer audits

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee all quality activities, including KPI management, APQP, FMEA, customer and supplier claim management, audits, and corrective actions.
• Ensure implementation of regional quality strategies and customer requirements throughout the organization.
• Drive successful and safe product launches from project phase to mass production.
• Manage the Quality Department budget, objectives, and team development.
• Coordinate and lead process, system, layered process, and environmental audits.
• Monitor quality performance, risk assessments, quality targets, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable quality, environmental, legal, and customer-specific requirements.
• Act as the Product Safety and Conformity Representative (PSCR).
• Develop technical training programs and promote a strong quality culture across the plant.
• Support supplier quality performance, escalation processes, and cross-functional problem-solving activities.
