General Motors de México seeks a Launch Quality Group Leader to drive quality during new product introductions from prototypes through SORP.
You will coordinate APQP, PPAP, MSA, and statistical methods while leading cross-functional teams across Manufacturing, Engineering and Production to ensure flawless launches and customer satisfaction.
This position is temporary for 10 months.
The Launch Quality Group Leader is responsible for leading quality assurance activities during new product launches, ensuring flawless execution from prototype builds through Start of Regular Production (SORP). This role drives compliance with quality standards, PPAP requirements, and manufacturing readiness processes while coordinating cross-functional teams to identify risks, resolve issues, and achieve launch quality targets.
The position requires strong expertise in Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP), Production Part Approval Process (PPAP), Measurement System Analysis (MSA), Statistical Methods, and structured Problem Solving. The Launch Quality Group Leader serves as a key liaison between Manufacturing, Engineering, Supplier Quality, Program Management, and Production Teams to ensure successful product launches and customer satisfaction.
