Job summary

Flex is seeking a Quality Intern in Aguascalientes to support engineers in data analysis, audits, and improvement initiatives. The role collaborates with Manufacturing, Process Engineering, and Quality teams to reduce defects and strengthen product quality while developing practical QA competencies in a manufacturing setting.

Ideal candidates are recent graduates in related engineering fields with strong analytical skills and proficiency in Excel; English is a plus.

Qualifications

• Recent graduate in an engineering-related field.
• Knowledge of quality tools and methodologies is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to interpret data and identify trends.
• Proficiency in Excel and MS 365 applications; familiarity with data analysis and reporting tools.
• Ability to work cross-functionally in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills.
• Advanced to intermediate English (written and spoken).
• Self-motivated with continuous learning mindset and quality-excellence focus.

Responsibilities

• Support Quality Engineers in analyzing quality data, process performance metrics, and defect trends to identify improvement opportunities.
• Assist in reviewing and following up Layered Process Audits (LPAs) and track actions.
• Participate in root cause investigations and contribute to corrective and preventive actions.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing, Process Engineering, and Quality teams to evaluate process controls and reduce quality risks.
• Support continuous improvement projects focused on defect reduction and process capability.
• Prepare reports, dashboards, and presentations to communicate quality performance and project status.
• Assist in maintaining compliance with customer, regulatory, and internal quality requirements.
• Participate in audits, process validations, and quality improvement workshops while developing technical competencies.
