Flex is seeking an Intern (Quality) in Aguascalientes to support the Quality Engineering team in maintaining and improving quality systems, process controls, and continuous improvement initiatives. You will help analyze quality data and participate in root cause investigations while developing technical and professional competencies in a manufacturing environment.

You’ll work with Quality, Manufacturing, and Process Engineering teams to reduce defects, evaluate process controls, prepare reports

Qualifications

• Recent graduate in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Quality Engineering, Business Management Engineering, or a related field.
• Intermediate knowledge of quality tools and methodologies such as 8Ds, 5 Whys, Ishikawa, Pareto Analysis, SPC, Control Plan and FMEA.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with the ability to interpret data and identify trends (Minitab knowledge is preferred).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook, other Microsoft 365 applications and familiarity with data analysis and reporting tools.
• Ability to work effectively in a cross‑functional manufacturing environment.
• Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills.
• Advanced / Intermediate English level, both written and verbal.
• Self‑motivated individual with a continuous learning mindset and passion for process improvement and quality excellence.
• Strong sense of urgency and ability to influence cross‑functional teams to meet commitments, drive timely execution of actions, and achieve project milestones.

Responsabilités

• Analyze quality data, process performance metrics, and defect trends to identify improvement opportunities.
• Review and follow‑up on Layered Process Audits (LPAs), ensuring findings and actions are documented and tracked.
• Participate in root cause investigations and implement corrective actions.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing, Process Engineering, and Quality teams to evaluate process controls.
• Support continuous improvement projects focused on defect reduction and process capability.
• Prepare reports, dashboards, and presentations on quality performance and project status.
• Assist in maintaining compliance with customer, regulatory, and internal quality requirements.
• Participate in audits, process validations, and quality improvement workshops while developing competencies.
