nVent is a leading global provider of electrical connection and protection solutions. We seek a Quality Engineer in Reynosa to develop plans for new product introductions in coordination with Layout/Design Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, and Operations.

You will craft and apply quality standards, validate alignment with company standards, and drive PPAP/FAI processes. The role includes supervising quality metrics and implementing corrective actions to improve performance and ensure

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or related field.
• 4+ years of experience in manufacturing environments, sheet metal process preferred.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish (written and verbal).
• Quality tools: APQP, PPAP, FMEA, MSA, SPC.
• Six Sigma DMAIC, Lean Manufacturing, 8D, 5Why, Ishikawa.
• Six Sigma Green Belt desirable.
• A tourist VISA is preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Develop plans for introductions of new products with Design/Layout, Manufacturing Engineering, and Operations.
• Craft and apply quality standards per customer requirements and specs.
• Recommend revisions of specifications when applicable.
• Design or specify inspection and testing processes and equipment.
• Plan and execute PPAP/FAI documentation per customer requirements.
• Supervise and analyze quality performance metrics for customers and the plant.
• Develop and implement corrective actions and quality improvements.
• Attend educational workshops and maintain professional knowledge; participate in relevant societies.
