Job summary

TE Connectivity is seeking an Advanced Quality Engineer in Querétaro, Mexico, to lead quality activities for new product launches within the Project Development team. You will drive Advanced Quality Planning, facilitate PFMEA reviews, develop control plans for NPIs, and collaborate with manufacturing locations and suppliers to ensure robust quality for launches.

The role requires 5+ years in customer quality or NPI, a manufacturing/industrial engineering background, and strong problem-solving,

Qualifications

Bachelor in Manufacturing or Industrial Engineering, or equivalent
5+ years in customer quality management or NPI quality roles
Experience in Automotive industry or OEMs is a plus
Fluent Spanish and English communication skills (verbal, presentations & written)
Ability to lead teams and manage cross-functional stakeholders efficiently

Responsibilities

Own quality aspects of the project launch from design to production release and PPAP (G5)
Ensure compliance with product specifications and manufacturing process needs
Monitor safe launch performance and approve exit from safe launch
Organize PFMEA reviews and drive quality planning for prototypes
Develop and maintain control plans for NPI shipments and supplier development
Support APQP tools and FMEAs, Test and Inspection Plans
Collaborate with factory quality and cross-functional teams
Travel up to 20% and liaise with customer quality teams
