Molex Guadalajara is seeking a Quality Engineer to drive internal and supplier quality objectives by implementing and maintaining QMS and monitoring effectiveness. You will lead problem-solving initiatives and collaborate with manufacturing operations.

You will coordinate quality technicians, define special characteristics with SQA and engineers, develop control plans, lead PFMEA, manage non-conforming material, and act as customer interface on audits and PCN/ECN.

Formación

• Engineering degree or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of experience developing and implementing quality systems in manufacturing environments.
• Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 / IATF 16946 standards.
• Proficiency in SPC, control plans, FMEA, UL and CSA standards.
• Experience with problem-solving techniques (8D, Six Sigma).
• Advanced English level and SAP proficiency.
• Strong analytical, leadership, and communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate activities of quality technicians and auditors.
• Validate and define special characteristics with SQA and process engineers to meet product and customer requirements.
• Develop and implement QMS procedures according to Molex policies.
• Evaluate samples and prototypes and support NPI handoff improvement processes.
• Create quality control plans for in-process and final audits.
• Lead PFMEA continuous improvement and non-conforming material management.
• Act as customer interface for complaints, audits, PCN/ECN, and process improvements.
• Lead 8D problem-solving, lessons learned, and read-across initiatives.
• Coordinate reworks and inspections for non-conforming material.
• Participate in quality continuous improvement teams and audits.
• Drive scrap reduction and improvement projects.
