Formación

• Experience as a Quality Engineer in manufacturing, preferably in electronics or medical.
• Familiarity with ISO standards and LCD technology.
• Legal authorization to work (VISA).

Job Description

The quality engineer will support the daily operation of the organization’s Quality System. Responsibilities include responding to customer complaints, leading root cause analysis and corrective actions, reviewing engineering deliverables, participating in design reviews, performing internal audits, and updating quality assurance plans. The engineer will also lead supplier activities related to subcontractor and vendor approval, audits, and quality management, as well as liaising with certification authorities as required by specific programs.

Job Duties

1. Support the quality control department by providing daily, hands-on support to the QC and Production teams, ensuring compliance with specifications and drawing requirements.
2. Review and audit engineering deliverables and processes.
3. Prepare and review Software and Hardware Quality Assurance plans.
4. Participate in design reviews.
5. Approve releases for products, software loads, and drawings (mechanical, optical, electrical).
6. Collaborate with suppliers to improve quality and on-time delivery, assign SCARs to implement corrective actions, and maintain traceability.
7. Support and maintain the corrective action system, coordinate timely completion of CARs, and verify their effectiveness.
8. Review NCRs and coordinate MRB dispositions.
9. Assist in reviewing and completing first article inspection reports.
10. Maintain and implement calibration schedules and controls.
11. Support the implementation and phase-in of product changes during ECO meetings.

Requirements

• Proficient in English, with excellent communication skills (interviews in English and daily communication).
• Experience as a Quality Engineer in manufacturing within the electronics or medical industry is preferred.
• Legal authorization to work (VISA).
• Experience with ISO standards.
• Familiarity with LCD technology, monitors, displays, and optical products, as they are integral to our manufacturing and quality processes.
• Engineering degree.
• Availability to work in Rosarito, Fox Studios, and Popotla.
