DESCRIPTION
- Perform the evaluation of supplier’s parts within different commodities.
- Ensure and assess the acceptance of supplied parts' quality according to standards through inspections, audits, etc.
- Create entries for non-conforming material inside the system and validate quality incidents from other plants that could affect production.
- Gather data through statistical measurements for failures, defects, quality issues, etc.
- Implement robust containment actions when flaws or defect parts are identified.
- Create orders for sorting and/or reworks with approved work instructions.
- Execute actions for problem solving using various tools and deploy effective corrective actions.
- Perform all activities aligned with the ticket scope and KPI targets.
- Participate actively in regular meetings.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial, Mechanical Engineering, or related fields.
- At least 1 year of experience in the Automotive Industry with knowledge in quality, quality systems, quality assurance, manufacturing (exterior, interior, electronics, and/or powertrain), or similar positions.
- Experience with product/process audits according to international standards (VDA, IATF16949, ISO 9001).
- Good knowledge of Non-conforming processes and material management.
- Good knowledge of quality processes, tools, and GD&T (is a plus).
- Certified Quality Auditor under ISO 19011 (desirable).
- Handling of KPIs and reporting.
- Ability to gather technical information, lessons learned, concepts, and customer requirements.
- Knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies (lean manufacturing).
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access).
- SAP knowledge (desirable).
- Fluent in English (conversational level).
- Available to rotate shifts.
