This role involves managing customer complaints, conducting audits, and working closely with production teams. Candidates should have an engineering degree and experience in quality engineering, preferably in the electronics or medical fields. Proficiency in English is required, and legal authorization to work is a must.

Job Title: Quality Engineer

The quality engineer will support the daily operation of the organization’s Quality System. Responsibilities include responding to customer complaints, leading root cause analysis and corrective actions, reviewing engineering deliverables, participating in design reviews, performing internal audits, and managing supplier activities such as audits and approvals. Liaison with certification authorities as required by specific programs is also part of the role.

Job Duties:

• Support the quality control department by providing daily, hands-on support to the QC and Production teams, ensuring accurate application of specifications and drawings.
• Review and audit engineering deliverables and processes.
• Prepare and review Software and Hardware Quality Assurance plans.
• Participate in design reviews and approve releases for products, software loads, and drawings (mechanical, optical, electrical).
• Collaborate with suppliers to enhance quality and on-time delivery, assign SCARs for corrective actions, and maintain traceability of improvements.
• Support and maintain the corrective action system, ensuring timely completion of CARs and verifying their effectiveness.
• Review NCRs and coordinate MRB dispositions.
• Assist in reviewing and completing first article inspection reports.
• Maintain and implement calibration schedules and controls.
• Support the implementation and phase-in of product changes during ECO meetings.

Qualifications:

• Proficient in English, with fluent communication skills required for interviews and daily interactions.
• Experience as a Quality Engineer in manufacturing within the electronics or medical industry is preferred.
• Legal authorization to work (VISA).
• Experience with ISO standards.
• Familiarity with LCD technology, monitors, displays, and optical products, which are integral to our manufacturing and quality control processes.
• Engineering degree.
• Availability to work in Rosarito, Fox Studios, and Popotla.
