A leading electronics company in Rosarito is seeking a Quality Engineer to support the Quality System's daily operations. You will review engineering deliverables, conduct internal audits, and lead supplier quality activities. Ideal candidates will possess an engineering degree and fluency in English, with experience in the electronics or medical industries preferred. The role requires an understanding of ISO standards and familiarization with LCD technology.

Formación

  • Minimum experience as a Quality Engineer in the electronics or medical industry is preferred.
  • Availability to work in Rosarito.

Responsabilidades

  • Support the quality control department and provide daily hands-on support.
  • Review and audit Engineering's deliverables and processes.
  • Prepare and review Software and Hardware Quality Assurance plans.
  • Participate in design reviews.
  • Work with suppliers to improve quality and on-time delivery.
  • Support and maintain the corrective action system.

The quality engineer will support the daily operation of the Quality System of the organization.

  • Will respond to internal and external customer complaints and lead root cause analysis and corrective actions. Interprets and executes policies and procedures and provides modifications to operating processes.
  • The quality engineer will review the engineering deliverables and will participate in the design reviews.
  • Will perform internal audits and redact/update quality assurance plans. T
  • The quality engineer will also lead supplier activities related to subcontractor and vendor approval, audits, and quality.
  • Liaison with the certification authorities is also part of the quality engineer’s mandate as required by certain programs..
Job duties
  • Support the quality control department; provide daily, hands‑on support to the QC and Production departments in accurately applying the specification and drawing requirements to the products, purchased or manufactured.
  • Review and audit Engineering’s deliverables and processes
  • Prepare and review Software and Hardware Quality Assurance plans
  • Participate in design reviews
  • Approve releases for products, software loads, and various drawings (mechanical, optical, electrical)
  • Work with suppliers to improve quality and OTD, assign SCAR to implement permanent corrective action and maintain good traceability on improvements.
  • Support and maintain the corrective action system. Coordinate timely completion of CAR and verify and validate efficiency.
  • Review NCR and coordinate MRB for disposition
  • Perform and assist others in reviewing and completing first article inspection reports
  • Maintain and implement calibration schedule and control.
  • Support the implementation and phase‑in of product changes at ECO meetings.
  • English fluid (interviews in English and daily communication)
  • Experience as a Quality Engineer in manufacturing in the electronics or medical industry is preferred.

  • Familiar with LCD technology, monitors, displays, and optical products as it plays a significant role in our Manufacturing processes and quality control measures.
