Job summary

Flex seeks a Quality Engineer for our Guadalajara, North Campus team, reporting to the Quality Manager. You will implement and maintain quality programs, support NPI validations, and collaborate with Product Engineers and QA Managers on quality issues.

You’ll apply ISO standards, core tools (AMFE, MSA, SPC, APQP, PPAP) and use 8D, 5Why, process mapping, and Ishikawa analysis to drive product quality and process improvements. Competitive salary and benefits offered.

Qualifications

• BA/BS or equivalent work experience.
• Manufacturing industry experience.
• Direct interaction with internal and external clients for presentations.
• Intermediate English (Written & Spoken).
• Experience in metal mechanic processes.
• Experience in ISO.
• Knowledge in Core Tools (AMFE, MSA, SPC, APQP, PPAP).
• Problem solving expert (8D, 5Why, Process mapping, Ishikawa diagram).

Responsibilities

• Developing, applying, revising and maintaining quality standards for processing materials into partially finished or finished products.
• Compiles and writes training material and conducts training sessions on quality control activities.
• Supports Product Engineers and Quality Program Managers with customer interfaces as necessary on quality related issues.
• Assists with development and implementation of quality audits.
• Directs workers engaged in measuring and testing product and tabulating data concerning materials, product or process quality and reliability.

Reporting to the Quality Manager, this role involves responsibilities to implement and maintain quality engineering programs, standards and improvements within the organization. Will also be in charge of NPI processes validations.
