Corning Inc. in Mexico seeks a Quality Engineer to develop, implement, and maintain quality systems that support production while ensuring ISO 9001 and TL 9000 compliance. You will partner with cross-functional teams to assure product and process conformance.

You will drive continuous improvement, lead KPI and corrective actions, and participate in process audits to strengthen quality across the manufacturing line. Strong problem-solving and experience reading drawings are required.

Formación

• 2–5 years of experience in a similar role.
• Experience reading technical drawings.
• Experience with ISO 9001; TL 9000 is a plus.
• Knowledge of measurement equipment.
• Lean Manufacturing knowledge.
• Strong problem-solving skills.

Responsabilidades

• Develop, implement and maintain Quality systems to meet production requirements and ISO TL 9000.
• Determine resource requirements for Quality Engineering dept.; people, equipment, facilities.
• Conduct product, process and systems audits.
• Conduct finished goods materials inspections and drive continuous improvements.
• Lead KPI and Corrective Actions through problem solving (8D, 5 whys, A3, etc.).
• Attend Customer Notifications.
• Coordinate Process Audit & MSA.

What is your role?

As a Quality Engineer, you will support quality processes, drive continuous improvement, and work with cross-functional teams to ensure product and process compliance.

Major responsibilities and tasks

• Develop, implement and maintain Quality systems to meet the requirements of production, ISO 9001 and TL 9000
• Determine resource requirements for the Quality Engineering department; people, equipment, facilities as well as its optimization.
• Conduct product, process and systems.
• Conduct finished goods materials inspections and drive continuous improvements activities.
• Lead KPI and Corrective Actions through problem solving to improve indicators (8D, 5 whys, A3, etc.)
• Attend Customer Notifications
• Coordinate Process Audit & MSA.

What do you need to have?
