Dana Canada Corp. in Querétaro, MX seeks a senior Quality professional to coordinate cross-functional teams in quality assurance and compliance across manufacturing operations.

You will lead investigations, drive CAPA, and ensure adherence to IATF 16949 and ISO 9001 standards while supporting audit readiness and continuous improvement. The candidate will analyze quality data, identify trends, and communicate insights to management.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience in quality management.
• Minimum years of experience as specified in the job posting and in quality leadership roles.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate quality teams to ensure inspection, testing, and compliance across production.
• Lead investigations, root-cause analysis, and implement CAPA with documentation.
• Ensure compliance with IATF 16949, ISO 9001, and customer-specific requirements.
• Support audit readiness internal and external, and monitor key quality metrics.
• Prepare management reports and drive continual improvement initiatives.

Coordinate and ensure effective compliance with customer requirements to guarantee product quality across the organization's various operational and manufacturing phases, based on the implementation of control and monitoring systems; additionally, build and maintain effective customer relationships by meeting performance indicators and adhering to the Dana philosophy, thereby positioning the organization as a potential supplier for new projects.

Job Purpose

Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist in managing the activities of quality teams to ensure consistent execution of inspection, testing, and compliance procedures across production areas.
• Lead or support investigations into quality issues, facilitate root cause analysis, and ensure timely implementation and documentation of corrective and preventive actions.
• Help ensure adherence to industry standards such as IATF 16949 and ISO 9001, as well as customer-specific requirements.
• Support internal and external audit readiness.
• Monitor key quality metrics, identify trends, and prepare reports for management.
• Recommend actions to improve product quality and reduce defects.
• Provide guidance and support to quality technicians and inspectors.
• Assist in developing training materials and promoting a culture of continuous improvement and accountability.

Education and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 4+ years of applicable experience
• 7+ years of experience

Skills

• Proficient in implementing and maintaining QMS frameworks such as ISO 9001 and IATF 16949.
• Skilled in conducting audits, managing documentation, and ensuring regulatory compliance across production processes.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze quality data, identify trends, and lead root cause investigations.
• Experienced in applying corrective and preventive actions (CAPA), and driving continuous improvement initiatives using tools like 8D, FMEA, and SPC.
