Impro Aerospace is seeking a QC Supervisor to lead casting and machining inspection teams in a fast-paced aerospace environment. The role focuses on internal quality control, customer satisfaction, and audits such as AS9100.

You will establish work instructions, train QC staff, and drive quality improvements across in-process and final inspections. English and Spanish proficiency is required, along with GD&T and dimensional inspection expertise.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering is required.
• Proficient in English and Spanish (written and spoken).
• Strong MS Word and MS Excel skills.
• At least 2 years of quality engineering experience.
• Familiar with GD&T and dimension inspection.

Responsabilidades

• Lead casting and machining in-process and final inspection teams daily.
• Establish inspection work instructions and training documents per production traveler requirements.
• Provide regular training to QC engineers and inspectors.
• Improve inspection capabilities of casting and machining teams.
• Manage non-conformance processes during daily operations.
• Handle gauge calibration (internal and external) and procurement for inspection.
• Oversee gauge procurement and calibration, and related tasks as assigned by supervisor.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.

The quality control(QC) supervisor will be responsible for leading casting & machining process and final inspection team. This role plays a key part in internal quality control, customer satisfaction, and certification audits (e.g., AS9100, customer audit).

Key Responsibilities:

• 1.Establish inspection working instruction & training document per production traveler requirement;
• 2.Provide regular training to QC engineer and inspectors;
• 3. Lead casting & machining in process and final inspection team daily operation;
• 4. Improve casting & machining in process and final inspection team inspection capability;
• 5. Handling non-conformance process in casting & machining process during daily operation;
• 6. Manage and purchase proper gauge for daily inspection according product inspection plan;
• 7. Manage gauge internal & external calibration operation;
• 8. Other task assigned by supervisor;

Required Qualifications:

• 1.Bachelor degree of Mechanical engineering;
• 2.Good in English & Spanish in writing & speaking is a must;
• 3.Good skill in Microsoft word, excel application;
• 4. At least 2 years quality engineer working experience;
• 5.Familiar with GD & T technology and dimension inspection;
• 6. Have at least 2 years team leader working experience;

Preferred Qualifications:

• 1. Have quality tools (8D, APQP, PPAP, SPC, MSA) application experience will be preferred;
• 2. Have Aerospace inspection team leading experience will be preferred;
