UPS is seeking a Quality Inspector to support assembly inspection and ensure dimensional/positional accuracy in our manufacturing operations in Mexico. This role emphasizes adherence to GMP and ISO standards, with a focus on reporting and proactive quality control within a global logistics and manufacturing environment.

The ideal candidate will inspect materials, WIP, and final products, document findings, and drive corrective actions to meet quality goals.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong math skills without calculator.
• At least 2 years inspecting mechanical parts and assemblies.

Responsabilidades

• Inspect and report on manufacturing quality.
• Inspect incoming materials, packaging and labeling components, work-in-process and final products using basic inspection gauging.
• Initiate rejection reports for non-conforming materials.
• Ensure proper documentation per GMP and ISO requirements.
• Perform QC activities such as incoming, CQA and final product inspections.
• Drives process changes, reports on quality metrics and ensures proactive measures are taken to achieve quality goals.
• Documents quality issues and performance measures for management review.
• Documents corrective actions and tracks subsequent follow-up activities.
• Prepares and presents quality status and performance improvements.
• Initiates rejection reports for non-conforming materials.
• Identifies and champions resolution of quality issues.
