The Quality Auditor at AMETEK, Inc. supports production, quality control, and continuous improvement by performing in‑process and final inspections to ensure conformance with drawings and specs.

You will verify measurements, document results, and drive immediate corrective actions to maintain throughput. This role requires familiarity with inspection methods, basic English, and MS Office; prior experience in manufacturing and measurement tools is preferred.

Formación

• High School Diploma required or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year in a similar manufacturing role.
• Knowledge of production processes and inspection methods.
• Ability to operate measuring equipment (preferred).
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Basic English communication skills preferred.

Job Description:

The Quality Auditor performs audits of production processes, final products, and packaging to ensure compliance with drawings, specifications, and quality standards. This role supports production, quality control activities, and continuous improvement efforts.

Responsibilities

• Perform in‑process inspections during manufacturing operations to verify products meet drawing and specification requirements.


• Conduct final product and packaging inspections required for product acceptance and shipment.


• Execute inspection activities according to production control plans as part of standard manufacturing workflow.


• Operate measuring and inspection equipment used to verify dimensional and functional product characteristics.


• Document inspection results required to release product at each production stage.


• Identify non‑conforming materials on the production line and take immediate action to prevent defective product from progressing.


• Support real‑time corrective actions with production personnel to ensure uninterrupted manufacturing flow.


• Verify calibration status of inspection equipment used in daily production activities.


• Assist with defect identification and resolution directly impacting production yield and throughput.


• Perform assigned production‑related tasks necessary to meet daily manufacturing output requirements.

Requirements

• High School Diploma (preferred).


• Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar role or in a manufacturing environment.


• Knowledge of production processes.


• Knowledge of inspection and control methods.


• Ability to use measuring equipment (preferred).


• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.


• Basic English (preferred).
