We are looking for a Quality Assurance Manager to lead the Mexico City teams in ensuring that the software delivered on FireTV and other Amazon devices meets Amazon's high-quality standards.

This role is located in Mexico City (Polanco area), and requires the candidate to be in the office. There is no hybrid or remote option for this role.

Key job responsibilities

Developing and executing the long-term strategy for Amazon devices, focusing on automation and scalability across millions of devices in production. The leader should be capable of hiring and developing talent across various roles, including manual testers, automated testers, and technicians supporting our data centers.

A day in the life

With your team, you will ensure that new features and capabilities for Amazon devices are tested appropriately. You and your team will gate releases to ensure Amazon customers receive high-quality devices. Weekly, you'll meet with internal executives and stakeholders to report on progress, discuss risks, and present plans for success.

• 3+ years of quality assurance engineering experience
• 3+ years of experience managing quality assurance teams
• Experience managing manual testers
• Experience managing automation testers
• Experience reviewing test plans, test cases, and testing results with a strong QA background
• Experience preparing quality metrics and engaging with stakeholders to set and drive quality goals
• Experience transforming QA programs from manual to automation
