Job summary

Emerson Electric Co. is seeking a Quality Assurance professional to coordinate in-process and final product inspections, investigate failures, and drive corrective actions.

You will support certification processes (ASME/CSA/PED) and lead improvements to prevent defects while traveling up to 90% to support suppliers and customers. The role requires a Bachelor Degree, strong bilingual proficiency, and at least 2 years in QA with statistical control.

Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree required.
• Bilingual 95% proficiency.
• 2 years of experience in quality assurance with statistical control.
• Experience in design of experiments and cause-and-effect analysis.
• Willingness and ability to travel up to 90%.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate in-process and final product inspection.
• Research causes of product failures and implement corrective actions.
• Implement improvements to the quality system and actions to prevent defects.
• Perform customer returns (SR) analysis and respond to preventive actions.
• Monitor and report compliance with annual objectives, scrap and ppm goals.
• Coordinate non-conforming material (Process - Supplier).
• Participate in process quality assurance of new products (Pilot Runs).
• Verify proper implementation of the quality system and its daily application.
• Support ASME, CSA, PED, UV, NB certifications as applicable.
• Support projects and improvement initiatives for Fromex by corporate or management.
