The ideal candidate will have over 4 years of quality assurance experience and will work closely with development teams to ensure high software quality. Must possess experience with testing frameworks like Selenium or Appium and manage planning and execution of test plans.

The Amazon International Technology Team (INTech) is hiring QA Engineers to work in our Software Development Center in Mexico City.

The INTech team builds International extensions and new features of the Amazon.com web site for individual countries and creates systems to support Amazon operations. We work primarily for Brazil, Mexico, Australia, and Singapore and partner with INTech EU, IN, and JP to create solutions for Germany, France, UK, India, China, Italy, Japan, and more.


Key job responsibilities
- Be responsible for manual and automated testing of features across various platforms including web and mobile.
- Own the planning, development and execution of test plans and test cases.
- Review user interfaces for conformity and functionality.
- Help develop, improve, and employ testing strategies and techniques.
- Find, isolate, document, regress, and track bugs through resolution.
- Interpret and report testing results, and be a vocal proponent for quality in every phase of the development process.
- Work with Software Development Engineers (SDE) to understand the overall technical architecture and how each feature is implemented.- 4+ years of quality assurance engineering experience
- Experience developing high quality test plans, test designs, test strategies, and test execution
- Experience of using test case management tools (e.g. Test Rail, TestLink) and issue management tools (Jira)
- Experience troubleshooting and debugging technical systems
- Experience working closely with development and business teams to communicate problem impacts and to understand business requirements
- Experience as QA lead on medium to large sized projects
- Experience in automation testing
- Experience in manual testing- Experience with at least one automated test framework like Selenium or Appium
- Experience in leading/coordinating work for other test teams
- Experience scripting or coding
