Mroads in Mexico City is seeking a seasoned QA Automation Engineer to lead automated testing initiatives across UI, API, and integration layers. The role emphasizes hands-on coding, designing scalable frameworks with Playwright and Selenium, and driving quality in an Agile environment through robust test suites.

You will integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines, validate REST APIs, and collaborate with developers to reduce defects and accelerate delivery.

Formación

• 5+ years of experience in QA Automation.
• Strong hands-on experience with Playwright.
• Strong experience with Selenium WebDriver.
• API Testing using REST Assured, Postman, ReadyAPI, or similar tools.
• Experience with BDD frameworks such as Cucumber (preferred).
• Strong knowledge of REST APIs, JSON, XML, HTTP methods, and API validation.
• Experience with Git and CI/CD pipelines.
• Knowledge of SQL and database validation.
• Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Mroads is looking for a \"QA Automation Engineer\" for one of the direct clients in Mexico City, Mexico. This is a hybrid role with 3 days in the office every week.

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled QA Automation Engineer with strong expertise in Playwright, Selenium, and API Testing. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience designing and maintaining scalable automation frameworks, developing robust automated test suites, and ensuring high-quality software delivery in Agile environments. This role is heavily focused on test automation, with hands‑on coding and continuous improvement of automation practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable automation frameworks using Playwright and Selenium WebDriver.
