Central Transport seeks a Quality Assurance Analyst to support planning, documentation, validation, and delivery of our .NET and Angular applications in the Monterrey area. You will work closely with business users, developers, and QA team members to translate requirements into clear tickets, test scenarios, and acceptance criteria.

The role emphasizes organized, detailed testing, ticket coordination, and creating reusable test cases.

Formación

• 1+ years of experience in QA testing, QA analysis, business analysis, or software validation.
• Experience writing clear test cases, acceptance criteria, or QA documentation.
• Understanding of SDLC and ticket flow from requirements to release.
• Experience with Jira or Azure DevOps.
• Ability to communicate with business and technical teams.
• Strong organization and time management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tickets and testing efforts simultaneously.
• Experience validating application behavior against business requirements.
• Basic understanding of web apps, APIs, databases.
• Valid Visa and Passport.

Responsabilidades

We are seeking a Quality Assurance Analyst to support the planning, documentation, validation, and delivery of our .NET and Angular applications.

This role is focused on working closely with business users, developers, and QA team members to define clear requirements, review tickets, manage QA readiness, create test cases, and ensure development work is properly validated before release.

The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, comfortable communicating with both business and technical teams, and able to translate business needs into clear tickets, test scenarios, and acceptance criteria. This role may also assist with API, UI, and automated testing efforts using tools such as Playwright, but the primary focus is QA analysis, ticket coordination, documentation, and test coverage.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with business users to clarify requirements, refine tickets, and validate expected behavior.
• Review tickets during the development process to ensure they contain clear requirements, acceptance criteria, and testing expectations.
• Manage and organize QA ticket queues to help keep work moving through development, testing, and release.
• Identify when tickets are blocked, missing information, or need additional business or developer clarification.
• Create and maintain clear ticket documentation, test notes, acceptance criteria, and QA findings.
• Develop reusable manual test cases for regression, smoke, integration, and user acceptance testing.
• Work with developers to identify high-value test scenarios early in the development process.
• Execute test cases and document results clearly in Jira or other test management tools.
• Report defects with clear reproduction steps, expected results, actual results, screenshots, logs, or supporting data when applicable.
• Maintain and extend existing manual and automated test case documentation.
• Support test data preparation and environment setup for repeatable testing.
• Assist with API, UI, and automated test coverage where appropriate.
• Monitor automated test and pipeline results, investigate failures, and communicate findings to the team.
• Collaborate with QA team members to improve testing standards, documentation, and overall quality practices.
• Help bridge communication between business users, developers, QA, and DevOps.

Required Skills & Experience

• 1+ years of experience in QA testing, QA analysis, business analysis, or software validation.
• Experience writing clear test cases, acceptance criteria, or QA documentation.
• Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle and how tickets move from requirements through development, testing, and release.
• Experience working with issue tracking tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar systems.
• Ability to communicate effectively with business users, developers, QA, and technical teams.
• Strong organization and time management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tickets, priorities, and testing efforts at the same time.
• Experience validating application behavior against business requirements.
• Basic understanding of web applications, APIs, databases, and modern software systems.

Preferred Skills

• Experience testing REST APIs and validating request/response data.
• Experience with SQL for data validation and test verification.
• Familiarity with automated testing tools such as Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, or similar frameworks.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines such as Woodpecker CI, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Drone, or similar tools.
• Basic understanding of .NET, Angular, and containerized environments such as Docker or Podman.
• Experience with QA metrics, test coverage analysis, and release readiness reporting.
• Experience helping define or improve QA processes.
