ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced QA Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be instrumental in ensuring the quality and reliability of our products through comprehensive manual testing. You\'ll leverage your keen eye for detail, strong analytical skills, and ability to think creatively to identify issues and ensure a seamless user experience.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Design and execute thorough manual test cases and test scripts based on system specifications and requirements;
• Develop multiple test scenarios, including non-traditional test cases, negative testing, edge cases, and performance considerations, to ensure robust product validation;
• Collaborate closely with the development team to understand requirements, plan testing processes, and identify issues for correction;
• Create detailed logs to document testing phases and identify defects;
• Report bugs and errors to development teams, primarily using Jira;
• Troubleshoot issues and help identify root causes of defects;
• Create and maintain test cases, test scripts, test reports, and test documentation, with experience in tools like Xray;
• Participate actively in Agile-Scrum development processes, providing valuable feedback and suggestions for continuous improvement;
• Work with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle.

MUST HAVES

• 10+ years of experience with manual testing;
• 1-2 years of experience with Selenium and Python;
• Proven experience in planning, designing, writing, and executing test cases and test scripts;
• Proficiency with tools like Jira, xRay, GitHub, or GitLab;
• EST working hours are required;
• Good understanding of Agile Scrum methodologies;
• Excellent analytical, communication, time management, and problem-solving skills;
• Basic database knowledge (e.g., MySQL, Postgres);
• Experience with testing application software hosted in the cloud (AWS environments preferred);
• Ability to think outside the box to develop multiple scenarios and identify non-traditional test cases, incorporating negative testing and edge cases;
• Quick learner with a passion for troubleshooting;
• Ability to multi-task, manage priorities, and work under pressure in a dynamic and fast-paced environment;
• Strong attention to detail;
• Dynamic and proactive approach, demonstrating initiative in work;
• Excellent organizational skills, including a good sense of priority management and the ability to quickly adapt to change;
• Experience in the technology sector, particularly within a SaaS company or the procurement sector, is a valuable asset;
• Upper-Intermediate English level.
