AUMOVIO MEXICO, S. DE R.L. DE C.V. in San Luis Potosí is seeking an experienced Quality professional to provide operational support to Quality, coordinate QC technicians and audits, resolve NCR/CAPA issues, and ensure compliance with QMS requirements.

The role focuses on reducing PPM, scrap, and nonconformities through structured problem-solving (8D, CAPA) and robust process controls, with authority to stop production for quality or safety risks.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Fields include Manufacturing Engineering, Production Engineering, Quality Engineering and Process Engineering.
• 3–5 years in Quality, including 3+ years in process quality.

Responsabilidades

• Manage process quality in production (SPC, Cp/Cpk, control plans).
• Lead problem-solving activities (8D, 5 Why, CAPA).
• Drive scrap reduction and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Support production on quality issues and containment actions.
• Maintain and update QMS and process documentation.
• Coordinate quality technicians, auditors, and inspections.
• Handle customer complaints and supplier quality issues.
• Ensure compliance with customer requirements and standards.
• Monitor KPIs (PPM, FPY, scrap) and implement improvements.

Job Description

Provide operational support to Quality, including coordination of QC technicians/auditors, production issue resolution (NCR/CAPA), and customer/supplier concern resolution.

Ensure compliance with Quality Policy and QMS requirements; adhere to procedures and defined responsibilities.

Monitor process KPIs and performance metrics to reduce PPM, scrap, and internal quality issues while ensuring customer specifications are met.

Apply structured problem-solving methodologies (8D, CAPA) for corrective and preventive actions.

Execute containment actions and escape nonconformities; ensure proper identification, segregation, and control of nonconforming or suspect product per Jidoka processes.

Ensure customer satisfaction through effective use of quality tools and problem-solving; define and implement process quality controls.

Manage and update process control documentation for serial production.

Support implementation of corrective actions from internal problem-solving and customer 8D.

Authority to stop production/process for quality or safety risks, ensuring immediate containment and corrective action per procedures.
