Job summary

Collins Aerospace is seeking a Sr Talent Acquisition Specialist for 1st shift, remote with travel to Mexicali site as needed. You will lead full recruitment lifecycle, partner with hiring managers, and build candidate experiences in a fast-paced aerospace environment.

Responsibilities include sourcing at universities and networks, reviewing resumes, interviewing for technical fit, and ensuring legal compliance. Strong English and experience with HR systems are required.

Qualifications

• Requires university degree or equivalent experience with 5+ years in recruitment or related field.
• Advanced English communication skills.
• Minimum 3 years in similar roles.
• Experience managing HR systems (Workday, SuccessFactors, Oracle, LinkedIn Recruiter, Smart Recruiters).
• Fluent/advanced English.

The Talent Advisor is responsible for managing the full recruitment lifecycle, partnering with hiring managers to attract, assess, and hire top talent while ensuring an excellent candidate experience and compliance throughout the process. This role combines strategic recruiting, stakeholder management, and process improvement within a fast-paced aerospace environment.

Must be authorized to work in the Mexico without the company's immigration sponsorship now or in the future. The company will not offer immigration sponsorship for this position. The company will not seek an export authorization for this role.

What You Will Do:

• Acts as the subject matter expert in the hiring process, acting as a liaison between candidates and hiring managers, ensuring a high-quality experience for both.
• Proactively develop strategic relationships and engagement strategies with identified universities, technical organizations and referral networks.
• Reviews resumes and employment applications to create a short list of candidates to submit to the hiring manager.
• Interview and screens applicants for technical competence, applicable background and skills, individual goals and ability to fit in the organization and function effectively.
• Makes employment recommendations based on information developed through phone screens, on-site interviews, and evaluates data concerning previous employment records.
• Ensures compliance with all legal aspects of the hiring process.
• Establishes cadence reviews with hiring managers to ensure timely response to candidates and fill the position.
• May participate on project teams impacting Talent Acquisition function and completing tasks on timely manner
• Work remotely while remaining within driving distance of the Avionics plant located at Calz. Manuel Gómez Morín 3200, Rancho Hermanos Fuerte, 21135 Mexicali, B.C., Mexico, with the ability to travel to the site as needed.

Qualifications You Must Have:

• Typically requires: A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years experience
• Advanced English communication skills
• Minimum 3 years of previous experience in similar roles.
• Minimum 3 year of experience managing Recruiting or HR systems including Workday, Success Factors, Oracle, LinkedIn Recruiter, Smart Recruiters, etc.
• Advanced English

Qualifications We Prefer:

• Strong communication skills, with the ability to communicate fluently and professionally in written and spoken English
• Strong knowledge of high-volume hiring strategies, recruiting events, and workforce planning.
• Proven experience supporting large-scale hiring and workforce ramp-ups, including rapid hiring increases driven by business growth, new programs, site expansions, or transfers
• Demonstrated ability to identify and implement recruiting process improvements to increase efficiency, reduce time-to-fill, improve candidate experience, and minimize rework
• Experience using data and recruiting metrics to identify gaps and drive continuous improvement
• Experience developing talent pipelines and sourcing strategies for critical and hard-to-fill positions.
