Turner & Townsend seeks a QA/QC professional to lead quality assurance for industrial electrical projects in Mexico. The role focuses on compliance with CFE and NOM standards, documentation control, and coordinating NCRs and corrective actions.

Strong reporting and communication skills are essential to support executive-level updates. Minimum 5 years in QA/QC on substations and transmission lines, bilingual in Spanish and English, with a results-driven mindset and ability to work under pressure.

Formación

• Minimum 5 years of proven experience as QA/QC in industrial projects, particularly in high/medium-voltage substations and transmission lines.
• In-depth knowledge of quality standards applicable to the Mexican energy sector (CFE, NOM).
• Strong skills in documentation, record control, and executive-level reporting.
• Bilingual in Spanish and English, both written and spoken.
• Ability to perform under pressure with a results-driven mindset.
• Structured, organized, self-motivated, and capable of resolving complex technical issues.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and implement quality assurance and control plans in accordance with national and international standards (CFE, NOM, IEC).
• Verify materials, installation procedures, testing protocols, and site records.
• Conduct daily technical inspections and generate photographic and documentary reports.
• Initiate and manage Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) and coordinate corrective actions.
• Oversee the execution of technical tests (megger, TTR, insulation resistance, dielectric tests, etc.).
• Participate actively in progress meetings and present technical and quality updates at the executive level.
• Coordinate the technical and documentary closeout of projects.
• Collaborate with planning, supervision, and PMO teams to ensure timely and complete deliverables.
• Represent the company in audits, inspections, or client and regulatory reviews.
