Amber is seeking a QA-focused professional to elevate testing quality and mentor team members. You will support the Project Manager in strategy execution, collaborate with partners, and drive test planning and coverage across PC, console, mobile, and web platforms. Strong English and ownership are essential for success.

The role emphasizes onboarding, performance feedback, and training material creation, within a collaborative, growth-driven environment.

Responsibilities

• Elevate testing knowledge and track progress with clear goals.
• Assist PM in implementing vertical project strategy.
• Understand basic budgeting and budgeting implications.
• Communicate with partners and stakeholders for daily needs.
• Execute test cases and create test plans ensuring coverage.
• Knowledge of platforms (PC, Console, Mobile, Web, JIRA).
• Onboard new employees and create development plans.
• Provide quantitative/qualitative feedback to measure impact.
• Conduct monthly evaluations and 1:1s with reports.

The Quest:

• Elevate your team’s testing knowledge and constantly provide feedback by setting clear goals for each member, track their progress, and offering support for their career growth
• Assists the Project Manager in implementing the vertical strategy on each project
• Understanding of basic budgeting
• Directly communicate with partners and stakeholders for day-to-day needs
• The ability to execute on test cases and creating test plans to ensure ample coverage for project needs and that the product is up to industry and company standards
• Has knowledge and exposure to various platforms (PC, Console, Mobile (iOS/Android), Handhelds, Web Tools, Software, JIRA, etc)
• Able to onboard new employees and create personalized development plans based on their desired path
• Able to generate quantitative and qualitative feedback and reports for partners and upper management to measure their team’s performance and its impact on the business
• Knows how to conduct monthly evaluations and hosts 1:1 meetings for direct reports, including Test Leads and Testers
• Creates handbooks and training materials for projects to set a standard for others to follow
• Trains and mentors staff and creates personal development plans for their path of choice
