About the Role:
As a QA Lead, you will be at the forefront of our quality assurance efforts, leading a team of talented QA professionals and driving the quality strategy across multiple projects. Your role will involve designing and implementing robust testing processes, mentoring your team, collaborating closely with stakeholders, and ensuring our deliverables meet the highest standards. This is a leadership position where your expertise, vision, and ability to inspire others will play a pivotal role in our success.
What We’re Looking For:
- 6+ Years of QA Experience: Proven experience in quality assurance, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
-Leadership Skills: Demonstrated experience in leading, mentoring, and managing a QA team, fostering a culture of quality, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
-Deep QA Expertise: Strong knowledge of testing methodologies, tools, and best practices, with the ability to design and implement effective testing strategies.
- Salesforce Knowledge (a Plus): Familiarity with Salesforce is a plus, but your ability to learn quickly and lead a team to master new technologies is what matters most.
- Impactful Achievements: We want to hear about the difference you’ve made in your previous roles — whether you’ve streamlined testing processes, led successful projects, or elevated team performance.
Experience will be evaluated based on alignment to the core competencies for the role (e.g. extracurricular leadership roles, military experience, volunteer work, etc.).
What You’ll Do:
- Lead and Inspire: Manage and mentor a team of QA professionals, fostering growth, collaboration, and a commitment to excellence.
- Develop and Execute QA Strategy: Define the overall QA strategy and roadmap, ensuring alignment with project goals and timelines.
- Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure quality standards are met at every stage of the project.
-Ensure Quality Standards: Oversee the creation, execution, and maintenance of test plans and test cases, and ensure that issues are identified, tracked, and resolved.
- Drive Continuous Improvement: Lead initiatives to improve testing processes, tools, and techniques, and promote a culture of continuous improvement.
- Stay Ahead of Trends: Keep up-to-date with the latest QA methodologies, tools, and trends to ensure our practices remain at the cutting edge.
- Make an impact in our most important projects: Lead the QA practice and the QA teams in our most important projects being client-facing.
