Job summary

Pellera Technologies Mexico is seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer to create and maintain a runbook of automated and manual tests and select test subsets for different stages of software feature delivery. You will collaborate with SMEs to define tests, with SWEs to extend test harness automation, and with SREs to integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines.

You will help identify test coverage, automate where feasible, and translate test results into actionable tickets to drive defect resolution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or comparable 4 years of experience.
• 12–15+ years of experience in IT services or managed services environments.
• Extensive leadership experience managing global teams and operations.
• Proven track record of driving business growth and service excellence.

Responsibilities

• Identify and formalize test scenarios to create a holistic test coverage.
• Maintain a runbook of scenarios run for different contexts (e.g., staging, production release, nightly regression).
• Continuously improve our testing ecosystem, favoring automation.
• Collaborate with SMEs to ensure holistic test coverage.
• Integrate test scenarios into our evolving test harness.
• Analyze test results, converting failures into actionable tickets for defect resolution.
• Other duties as assigned.
