ABOUT THE ROLE

As a Python Engineer at AgileEngine, you will enhance and scale our Python-based ServiceNow tools, develop and maintain integrations, and collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver efficient, reliable solutions. You’ll work with modern Python frameworks like Django, FastAPI, and Celery, ensuring code quality and performance while contributing to AI‑powered workflows that optimize business processes.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Improve and scale up our Python-based “ServiceNow Extractor” code that can import a ServiceNow application into Rhino (and convert it into our Universal Application Notation), as well as our “ServiceNow Transformer” code that takes UAN and converts it into a ServiceNow application;
• Develop and maintain ServiceNow integrations;
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to understand business requirements;
• Design, develop, and test ServiceNow applications;
• Troubleshoot and resolve ServiceNow issues;
• Stay up‑to‑date on the latest ServiceNow features and functionality.

MUST HAVES

• +4 years of experience working in software development with Python;
• Experience with Celery, Django, or FastAPI;
• EST timezone availability;
• Excellent English and communication skills;
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
• Experience working in an Agile development environment.

NICE TO HAVES

• Some experience either doing integrations or building modules within ServiceNow;
• Experience working with AI.
