Job summary

EPAM Systems in Mexico is seeking a Python Software Engineering Manager to lead an AI-powered financial assistant platform. You will partner with a small senior team and technical stakeholders to ship chat, reporting, and bespoke interfaces into investment workflows.

You will design scalable systems, drive architecture decisions, and mentor engineers while delivering production-grade software with strong autonomy and quality.

Qualifications

• Proven track record in software development with 8+ years in Python, React (TS) or similar.
• Hands-on experience with FastAPI, AWS, Kubernetes and Terraform.
• High autonomy to take loosely defined tasks from requirements through delivery.
• Fluent English with strong written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Lead a small senior team to ship chat, reporting and interfaces into investment workflows.
• Collaborate with technical stakeholders without exposing non-technical clients.
• Elicit requirements, design systems and deliver production-grade implementations.
• Influence product direction and contribute to architecture decisions.
• Ensure quality, reliability, and security across deliverables.
• Adapt to evolving languages and technologies in a startup-style environment.
