AMETEK, a global industrial technology leader, seeks a Purchasing Superintendent in Mexico to drive the buying plan in support of production and customer demands. You will monitor MRP/MPS, release weekly POs, and review forecasts to align supplier schedules with the plan.

Responsibilities include managing raw material flow, workload reviews, and performance assessments with buyers under the Procurement Manager's guidance. AI‑assisted productivity improvements are encouraged.

Qualifikationen

• College degree is required.
• 5+ years of experience in Purchasing in a manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of MRP, MPS, and Kanban.
• Knowledge of Oracle (preferred).
• Handling software related to Windows.
• Bilingual Spanish - English (preferred).
• Ability and willingness to use AI tools to improve productivity, decision‑making, work quality, and to reduce costs.

Experience

• 5+ years ascertainable experience in the the Purchasing area in manufacturing Industry.
• Knowledge of MRP, MPS, and Kanban.
• Knowledge of ORACLE (preferred).
• Handling software related to windows.
• Bilingual Spanish - English (Preferred).
• Demonstrated ability and willingness to use AI tools to improve productivity, decision-marking, work quality, and to reduce costs. The successful candidate must be able to identify appropriate AI use cases and critically evaluate AI-generated outputs.
