Corning Incorporated in Apodaca, Nuevo León, seeks a motivated student to join the Purchasing and Supply Chain team as an intern. You will gain hands-on experience with daily administrative and operational activities, learning purchasing processes, systems, and material flows.

Collaborate with planning, receiving, and shipping, run reports, support meetings, and help coordinate internal customers. English proficiency is required.

Formación

• Currently pursuing a degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or related engineering fields.
• Strong ability to support purchasing and supply chain administrative tasks.
• Proficiency in English (spoken and written).

Responsabilidades

• Provide administrative and operational support to the Purchasing and Supply Chain team.
• Run and maintain reports required to support daily operations and decision-making.
• Support the preparation and follow-up of information required for meetings.
• Participate in meetings alongside the supervisor and other team members, as required.

Role Purpose

Support the Purchasing and Supply Chain team in daily administrative and operational activities while developing a practical understanding of purchasing processes, systems, materials, and the day-to-day operations of the business.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide administrative and operational support to the Purchasing and Supply Chain team.
• Run and maintain reports required to support daily operations and decision-making.
• Support the preparation and follow-up of information required for meetings.
• Participate in meetings alongside the supervisor and other team members, as required.
• Learn and understand internal purchasing and supply chain processes, systems, materials, and products.
• Support follow-up activities related to purchasing and material requirements.
• Collaborate with the Planning, Receiving and Shipping teams.
• Maintain communication and coordination with Production as an internal customer.
• Support Purchasing transactions in accordance with Corning policies and procedures.
• Perform other activities assigned by the supervisor according to business and departmental needs.

Required Qualifications

• Currently Pursuing a degree in: Supply Chain, Logistics, Industrial and Administrative engineering

Skills And Competencies

• Languages: English 70% spoken & written.
• Software: Knowledge: Excel, Word, Power point, Outlook Power Bi
